School Sports Partnerships
The current funding for SSCo roles in the secondary schools runs out at the end of this academic year. We are awaiting a Government announcement (due in Feb) to see if this will be extended so that these roles can continue.
We are fortunate in that most of our Secondary schools are still operating the role of the School Sports Coordinator (SSCo). However, without as much funding from the Government, the role will be slightly different this year but we aim to still keep many of the events and opportunities available to our students as well as some new ones.
Each SSP is made up of a Sports College, local Secondary schools and all the feeder Primary and Special schools to those secondaries. In our case Lord Williams's Sports College, Cheney School, The Cherwell School, Oxford School, The Oxford Academy and St Gregory the Great along with all the primary and special schools in Oxford City and in and around Thame.
Each SSP is made up of Families - a Family consists of a Secondary school and their feeder primary/special schools. The Thame and Oxford School Sports Partnership (TOP) is made up of six Families. Please click on the tabs on the left hand side to see which schools make up each Family.
